This is our last push for Volunteers! Come help us before, during and after the event. Join the Fundraising & Programming Team as we revive this beloved annual Anderson tradition. And, back by popular demand, the popcorn, cotton candy, and hot chocolate teams will be making their appearance too! Sign up to help here. 

Volunteering or bringing baked goods means you could be eligible to enter a drawing for 5 grandstand tickets to the Macy's Thanksgiving parade, but you must read carefully and register at this link. The drawing closes on Tue, 11/25 at 8pm. 

🎟️ Carnival Ticket Purchases 🎟️ 

Carnival tickets can be purchased Wednesday morning in the school lobby after drop-off or at the Carnival for $3/each OR $30 for a 12-ticket bundle.

Pre-sale tickets can be picked up on Wednesday morning in the school lobby after drop-off (adult handoff only) or at the Information table inside the yard during the event.

***GIVING TUESDAY ALERT*** With the biggest giving day of the year fast approaching, we wanted to remind parents that many employers offer additional matching bonuses as part of Giving Tuesday. Mark your calendars for 12/2 this year, and please check with your employers now to learn how to best maximize your donation.

🎁 Grand Bazaar NYC Presents: Holiday Bazaar @ Grand Central

In partnership with Made in NYC, Grand Bazaar NYC will be returning to The Biltmore Room at Grand Central Station for a holiday-themed pop-up shopping event on December 16 - December 18. Stop by and support over 150 local vendors.

Every Sunday @ Columbus Ave. & 77th St (the Anderson School Yard) from 10am - 5pm.

🚸 About Us 

The Grand Bazaar is the longest continuously running flea market in Manhattan, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. It is a significant fundraiser for the Anderson School PTA, generating tens of thousands of dollars annually. The history and mission of Grand Bazaar NYC can be found here.

Anderson Middle School parents are invited to volunteer at the Middle School Open House, 5:45-7:15pm on Wed, Dec. 3rd. Families from other schools, typically with 5th grade students, attend this event to learn about Anderson. Middle school students who attend with their parent/guardian can get community service credit. No younger siblings please. Sign up here. 

We need at least 20 parents (with or without their middle schoolers) to be present in the ground floor classrooms and casually answer questions about their child's experience with academics, homework and school culture.
