We’ve raised $350,000 from 163 Anderson families, secured 21 corporate matches, and are getting ever closer to our $500,000 goal.

Join us in shaping the future of our children’s education.

The Anderson Debate Club and Team are great pathways for AMS students to hone their debate skills.  6th graders can practice in Debate Club, while 7th and 8th graders are eligible to be part of the Debate Team.  Both are offered after school as part of the Manhattan Youth offerings with additional oversight and coaching by AMS Social Studies teachers, Mike Mucha and Michael Fox. 

All students involved in either the Debate club or team are encouraged to compete in various weekend student tournaments that take place throughout NYC. Thank you to everyone who represented Anderson at Columbia University’s Youth for Debate City Tournament on Dec. 6.
