Purpose of Meeting

The purpose of this meeting is to conduct the annual elections for the Parents’ Association Executive Board and the Parent Representative for the School Leadership Team (SLT). All parents and guardians of currently enrolled students are eligible to vote. The only qualification for all offices is that the candidate be a parent/guardian of a currently enrolled student. (Please note that a parent/guardian may not serve on the Board or SLT in the school in which they are employed.)

PA Executive Board Officers (1-yr term):

• Up to Three (3) Co-Presidents

• Up to Two (2) Co-Treasurers

• Up to Three (3) Assistant Treasurers

• Up to Two (2) Budget Co-Chairs

• PA Executive Board: Nominations for these positions have closed.

• SLT Parent Representative: Nominations remain open and will be accepted until the conclusion of the Executive Board elections during the meeting.

Notice on Process: In accordance with Chancellor’s Regulation A-660, while PA Executive Board nominations are closed per the established timeline, nominations for the SLT Representative will be taken from the virtual floor during the meeting.

The Anderson 4th Grade Band, under the direction of Ms. Brincks, participated in the Manhattan Borough Arts Festival at El Museo del Barrio on June 2. As one of the youngest ensembles performing that evening, the Anderson students delivered an impressive performance that showcased their musicianship, preparation, and professionalism.

The students' success reflected Ms. Brincks' dedication and leadership, as well as the many hours the band worked throughout the year. The day was made possible by the support of Ms. Yackel (401), Mr. Lemmon (402), and parent chaperones, who guided students through a full day of activities leading up to the evening performance.

Next year, we're expanding beyond sports and using the power of group tickets to bring our whole community together for the best New York City has to offer. These experiences are not fundraisers – they’re a community-building activity to connect with families. Let's keep the fun going!
