Anderson PTA Direct Appeal

Please kick off the school year by supporting the Anderson PTA Direct Appeal!Ā

This vital campaign bridges the gap between public funding and our school’s operating budget, allowing the PTA to help our school deliver the robust K–8 Anderson experience.Ā

While our ask is $2,000 per child, we ask every family to contribute whatever is feasible - because 100% participation is our key to success.Ā

Ways to Give

Online via PayLite Platform on PTA Website:Ā Most families use this portal to make contributions via credit card or ACH (which avoids CC fees):Ā https://andersonpta.paylite.net/

To make things fun, we are holding a school-wide competition: the grade with the highest participation rate will win an epic pizza party for their kids!

Chinese-Speaking Parents Community Meeting

According to Anderson’s recent school survey, Chinese/Mandarin is the second most commonly preferred language among Anderson parents - and we want to make sure our Chinese-speaking families feel heard, connected, and supported.Ā

Join us on Monday, October 26 at 8:30 AM for a special community gathering with Anderson school administration and PTA leaders. This will be an opportunity to meet other Chinese-speaking families, connect directly with school leadership, ask questions, and share what’s on your mind. RSVP here today!

Teacher Gift Fund 2026-2027

The PTA collects funds each year to give our wonderful teachers and staff tokens of our appreciation collectively as a parent body. These funds are used for Holiday Gifts and End-of-Year Gifts. Let’s show them our appreciation!

(Please remember that Chancellor’s Regulations ask teachers to only accept individual gifts if they are sentimental in nature or of small financial value, such as $5-10).

We kindly ask each family to consider an annual donation of $75-250 per child, and we warmly encourage those who are able to give more to consider a generous contribution. The teachers and staff are deeply appreciative!

Listed below are various payment options (FOUR ways to give) for the Teacher Gift Fund. Please make sure to include in the memo line: "Teacher Gift Fund Donation"

šŸƒā€ā™‚ļø AMS Team Building Day šŸƒā€ā™€ļø

Out of the Classroom, Lessons in the Field!

Anderson’s Middle Schoolers took over DeWitt Clinton Park on Friday, September 25 for a fantastic Team Building Day! With picture-perfect fall weather and spirits high, our 6th-8th graders tackled a series of fun and creative team-building challenges that put their physical coordination, mental tenacity, and teamwork to the test! There was plenty of friendly competition, cheering, problem-solving, and laughter along the way!Ā

A huge thank you to our Middle School teachers, who came out in full force to lead the activity stations, support the students, and be such great sports throughout the day. Special callout to Coach Rosenberg, who spearheaded the event and kept everyone moving and engaged. It was a wonderful chance for our Middle Schoolers to get outside the classroom, get some fresh air, connect across grades, and show off Anderson teamwork and some dragon spirit! Thanks to all parents who donate to the PTA, which funds field day activities for K-8 students!Ā
